Harry Styles launched his gender-neutral beauty line Pleasing on Monday, and it was well received by his fans online, he is the latest celebrity to try his hand at the booming cosmetic industry. The products won’t officially be available until after Thanksgiving.
It is Harry Styles’ turn to launch a makeup and skincare line, following in the footsteps of Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, and Pharrell Williams.
According to reports, the perfume and cosmetic brand was rumored as early as May of this year, when the singer was listed as the director for a new company.
“When we decided Pleasing would make beauty products I wanted to be sure they were something I would use. I didn’t want to make products to mask people, I wanted to highlight them and make them feel beautiful,” Styles said in a press release.
Throughout the months leading up to Styles’ announcement, his devoted fan base spotted him wearing Pleasing merchandise well before the brand was released, as well as reports Styles filed a trademark for his own cosmetics and fragrance line.
Pleasing is marketed to both men and women, as evidenced by its website, which shows both male and female models wearing products ranging in price from $20 to $35.
As part of Pleasing’s first drop, the brand is introducing four nail polish shades, an illuminating serum, and lip and eye treatments inspired by pearls – an element that can be found heavily on Styles’ accessories. Fans got their first glimpse of Harry Styles’ new beauty line, Pleasing-which includes nail polish with a shaped cap that resembles a marble.

As of now, there is an official website for Pleasing, and pre-orders are available now. The official release date is November 29.
As Styles said, all products are to highlight, not conceal, as beauty brands are so often focused on.
All of the products are cruelty-free, vegan, ethically sourced, and support nonprofits. The first drop of proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Nest, which helps to build a world with greater gender equity and inclusion through the artisan and maker economy.

The encapsulated pearls are created with lab-safe mica for a subtle, smooth luminescence that dissolves into the formula when dispensed. Use daily, either alone, or as a priming base for makeup.
