The 1 minute 14 second teaser features Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva waking up as the powerful weapon in the universe
Brahmastra started before Ayan Mukerji’s last film, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, even came out in 2013. Brahmastra, originally called Dragon, had its first release date shared by producer Karan Johar on December 23, 2016, which was followed by August 15, 2019 and December 4, 2020. Although the film kept getting delayed due to work on the visual effects and the Coronavirus outbreak.
Finally, the motion poster has come out and it shows Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Shiva.
In the one minute and fourteen second long teaser, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s voices can be heard as the most powerful weapon in the universe wakes up. Watch the video right here.
Brahmastra is slated to be released on 9 September, 2022. Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan shared a new information of this ambitious project.
Since it went on floors in 2018, the Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt superhero flick went through its share of testing times, as is usual for big-budget superhero projects.
Ayan Mukerji, the director, is now said to have included a song after the movie is nearly finished. In the next two weeks, the leads will give shape to the song on a large set at Film City, Goregaon.
