Manish Malhotra, the Bollywood designer who designed the saree, posted her photos on his official account. A wedding cocktail would also be a great opportunity to wear this number, even though the actor chose it for an event.
She wore a sheer beige-colored saree embellished with white chikankari floral work, border pattis, and minimal sequin work – a Manish Malhotra signature design element. She draped the six yards around her body in the traditional draping style.
The saree was worn with a spectacular and unique beige and off-white tie-dye blouse in hot bralette-style adorned with silver gota patti borders around the neckline, back, and hemline. The dress was also backless and featured an inverted hem as well as a plunging neckline.
To achieve the traditional look, Pooja styled her hair in an open center part, applied beige eyeshadows, dabbed on sheer lips, lined her eyes with winged eyeliner, applied heavy mascara to her lashes, and applied blush over dewy base makeup.
