Shahrukh Khan has been appointed as the brand ambassador for Burjeel Holdings, which is currently the largest private healthcare provider in the UAE. Within the next few weeks, the Bollywood superstar and owner of an IPL team will appear in a regional multi-platform advertising campaign.
Burjeel Holdings, which operates 39 hospitals and medical centers in the MENA region, hopes to utilize the Khan association to connect with a growing number of individuals traveling to the UAE for medical treatment.
“Visiting Burjeel Medical City and hearing Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil speak was both insightful and inspirational,” said Khan. It was humbling to meet employees and observe the immense passion and pride they take in their work. “They live the value of being for the people, by the people, and I am honored to be a part of that story.”
SRK’s partnership with Burjeel Holdings continues to expand Burjeel’s business in Saudi Arabia. The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Kingdom’s Ministry of Investment to seek investment opportunities up to $1 billion by 2030.
