The actress Vaani Kapoor will be starring in Mandala Murders, an OTT web series. It’s directed by Mardaani 2’s Gopi Puthran and Vaani will star alongside Vaibhav Raj Gupta. She shared her first look from the project on Instagram and wrote, “Killin’ it (literally) for my first OTT show!! Thrilled to be helming @yrfentertainment’s new series #MandalaMurders – a gritty crime thriller that’ll keep you guessing!”
An Instagram image shows Vaani clenching her hands and looking intensely at the camera. Vaani’s fans and friends in the industry wished her luck as soon as she shared the news about her new project.
The makers also revealed Vaibhav’s look. Vaibhav tweeted, “Firsts are always special..Excited to join @yrfentertainment’s new streaming show #MandalaMurders, a gritty crime thriller, with the legendary @vaanikapoor!
They’ll start filming Mandala Murders on March 31 in Uttar Pradesh. Then they’ll go to Delhi and Mumbai to finish.
The show is part of YRF’s ambitious OTT lineup, which already includes The Railway Men, a drama based on the 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy. The Railway Men series stars R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyendu, and Babil Khan, and pays tribute to the brave railway workers who saved scores of lives that night.
