Kim Kardashian Reportedly Filed To Be Legally Single

kim kardashian reportedly filed to be legally single

There is no sign that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are going to reconcile. According to TMZ and Us Weekly, Kim filed court papers to become legally single.

You can file for legal separation in some states. Being separated is not the same as being divorced; you cannot marry another person, and you must also figure out your custody and financial arrangements.

Additionally, she has requested the restoration of her maiden name, which means she will drop the “West” from “Kim Kardashian West.” if it’s granted.

According to the documents Kim filed Friday, she will be legally single if the court signs off on them. Kim basically asked the judge to separate issues pertaining to child custody and belongings from marital status. She also asked that her maiden name be reinstated.

Kim’s lawyer is Laura Wasser, who frequently separates marital status issues from other issues with celebrity clients like Dr. Dre and Kelly Clarkson. It enables people to move forward with their lives, resolving other issues later. No matter where their divorce stands, Kim and Kanye have always been one when it comes to raising their children and taking care of their emotional needs. In fact, just a few days ago, Kim and Kanye attended Virgil Abloh’s funeral together.

In recent interviews, Kanye has insisted Kim is still his wife, but this document would change that and make them separate legal entities.
