Simbu's Car Runs Over A Homeless Man

A 70-year-old pavement dweller was run over by a car registered to Tamil actor Silambarasan (Simbu) in Chennai. The accident happened on March 18, but the video of the accident was only posted on social media very recently. The police arrested the driver the day after the accident.

It is also reported that film director T Rajendar, the father of Silambarasan, was in the vehicle when it was hit. After getting out of the car, he called for an ambulance and asked the driver to accompany the victim to the hospital, even though the victim succumbed to his injuries once he reached the hospital. Silambarasan was not in the vehicle with his father.

The police have stated that the driver Selvam told them he had not noticed the man crawling on the road, and another vehicle was blocking his view. Currently, there is not enough information available about the matter because the investigation has not been completed.

On the work front, Simbu is speculated to team up with Aishwaryaa Rajnikanth for a new project. Numerous reports claim that the star is likely to appear in the filmmaker’s next directorial project.

In the meantime, he is also hosting the first season of Tamil Bigg Boss OTT named Bigg Boss Ultimate.
