There’s no doubt that Ram Charan and Upasana are one of the most powerful couples in Telugu cinema. Now they’re on their way to being proud parents. After a decade of marriage, Ram and Upasana are expecting their first kid.
Chiranjeevi, Ram’s father and veteran superstar, broke the news to his fans. It’s an honor to be a grandfather for the GodFather star, and he shared it on Twitter with the creative, “With Shri Hanuman Ji’s blessings, We’re so excited to let you know that Upsana and Ram Charan are expecting their first baby. With love and gratitude Surekha and Chiranjeevi Konidela, Shobana and Anil Kamineni.”
Fans of the actors started pouring in their wishes the moment Chiru Garu shared the news. Someone wrote, “10 years finally… Congrats RC.” Someone else wrote, “Thank god Megastar is adding (mega mega power power star) to his kingdom, can’t wait.”
As the son of Chiranjeevi, the nephew of Allu Aravind, and cousin of Allu Arjun, Ram Charan comes from one of Telugu cinema’s most prominent families. The actor made his debut in 2007 with Chirutha and has also starred in Magadheera, Naayak, Yevadu, Dhruva, Rangasthalam, and other movies.
A friend since school, Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni got engaged in December 2011. They got married in June 2012 in Hyderabad.
