While Season 1 of ABC’s Queens has come to an end, Brandy’s acting career is still flourishing. The accomplished actress has landed a starring role in the Netflix original, Best. Christmas. Ever.
In the Mary Lambert-directed comedy, the singer takes on the role of Jackie, a woman who boasts about her seemingly perfect life in an annual holiday newsletter. After a “twist of fate” unexpectedly reconnects Jackie with her college friend Charlotte, (Heather Graham) just before Christmas, Charlotte is determined to disprove Jackie’s extravagant life. As she tries to expose Jackie, however, she does more harm than good, as Christmas is almost ruined by her actions and it’s up to the pair to make things right.
“Get ready for the Best Christmas Ever. I’m so excited to join this phenomenal cast for this special holiday film coming soon to @netflix,” Brandy shared on Instagram along with a special behind-the-scenes photo on set.
