Heidi Montag Claims Lady Gaga Sabotaged Her Music Career

heidi montag says lady gaga stole her music career

According to Heidi Montag, Lady Gaga stole her music career after appearing on an episode of The Hills in 2009. Heidi’s recollections of working with “Poker Face” singer – who was just starting out at the time – are very similar to what she’s told about her relationship with RedOne (real name Nadir Khayat). As a result, Heidi says, some drama ensued between them.

I was going to pair up with [RedOne] and we were going to pair up to write and produce every song, just like him and Lady Gaga did. The two of them were in the studio recording Heidi’s song “Fashion,” which Gaga wrote and RedOne produced.

He said, ‘I just need to get the writer’s consent.’ So, I assumed Lady Gaga was a writer, since she wrote the song. And he said, “Hey, I think I’m gonna cut ‘Fashion’ with Heidi. She’s in the studio, she loves it.”.

Heidi continued by saying she recorded the song and used it to promote her clothing line while appearing on The View. Heidi claims Gaga then took the song back to record herself for the soundtrack of Confessions of a Shopaholic, a 2009 romantic comedy.

Her next claim was that Gaga prevented her from making any new music with RedOne. She told RedOne she wouldn’t work with him anymore if I kept working with him and she didn’t want her to work with him. He said, ‘I’m sorry. She’s my writing partner on big projects.’ We went out to dinner with him several times and she pulled the cord while we were hanging out.”
