Coldplay’s “Music Of The Spheres” reaches No. 1 with year-best sales, extending its U.K. chart streak.
Having moved 101,000 combined units, Music Of The Spheres is the British group’s ninth consecutive No. 1 solo album, a streak dating back to their debut Parachutes in 2000.
Music Of The Spheres has thus far sold more than 74,000 copies, easily surpassing Dave’s We’re All Alone In This Together, which appeared in July.
Ed Sheeran’s No. 6 Collaborations Project, which began with 125,000 in July 2019, was the last figure to cross six-digits in a week.
In last week’s episode of CBS’ The Late Late Show With James Corden, Coldplay performed all three songs live.
