Hummer EV Edition 1 pickup trucks are now leaving GM’s factories and heading into customers’ driveways, according to a company press release. The Hummer EV Edition 1, configured with the Ultium battery technology, comes with a whopping $110,295 price tag, along with up to 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 lb-ft of torque, along with a 329-mile range estimate.
GM claims the Hummer EV Edition 1 can reach 60 mph in about three seconds using its electric propulsion system. Additionally, it features Super Cruise, which enables you to drive hands-free on compatible roads in addition to automatic lane changes.
Preorders for the Hummer EV Edition 1 model have since sold out, but there are other trims left. Hummer’s EV 3X is expected to be available in the fall of next year for $99,995. It’s estimated to have a range of over 300 miles and a maximum torque of 11,500 pounds-feet.
As for the 625HP Hummer EV 2X, it will cost $89,995, come with two motors, and go on sale in spring 2023. With just one charge, it will be able to run for 300 miles, producing 7,400 lb-ft of torque. Last but not least, the Hummer EV 2 is the cheapest model and it has the same 625 horsepower and 7,400 pounds-feet of torque as all the others.The car will go on sale for $79,000 in the spring of 2024 and will have a range of over 250 miles. Its high price will not worry Tesla, Hyundai, and other EV competitors since this is a luxury product that will be limited in number.
