A statement released by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Wednesday announced the business hours for all of its public transportation services during Eid Al Adha. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that public parking will be free from Friday, July 8, through Monday, July 11. Multilevel parking terminals will remain paid zones, however.
In honor of Arafah Day and Eid Al Adha, the UAE will enjoy a four-day weekend.
There have been revisions to the timings of customer satisfaction centers, paid parking zones, public buses, the Dubai Metro and Tram, marine transit means, and service provider centers (vehicles technical testing). To prevent the spread of Covid-19, the authority also urged community members to strictly follow health precautionary measures.
From Friday, July 8 to Monday, July 11, public parking will be free across Dubai, with the exception of the multi-level parking terminals.
Dubai Metro
From Friday, July 8 to Monday, July 11, Dubai Metro will operate the Red Line Stations and the Green Line Stations.
Here are the timings:
- Fridays and Saturdays, from 5 am to 1 am (of the following day)
- On Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. (the following day)
- Monday, 5am-1am (the following day)
Public Bus Services
During the holiday, bus stations will operate from Friday, July 8 to Monday, July 11.
Monday through Thursday, 4 a.m. to 12 a.m. (the following day).
- From 5 am to 12.30 am (the following day) on Friday
- On Saturday and Sunday, 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. (the following day).
