Dubai Sets World Record With Largest Inflatable Water Park

Dubai bags guinness record for world’s largest inflatable water park

Located in the Gulf waters along the JBR beach, AquaFun is the world’s largest inflatable water park, according to Guinness World Records.

AquaFun, which opened for the first time in 2016, has now reached 42,400 square meters, three times its original size. Currently, it forms the words ‘I love (heart symbol) Expo 2020 Dubai’, which can be seen from aircraft landing in Dubai.

There are over 72 obstacles at the park. Prices for an all-day pass start at Dh155.

CEO and Founder of AquaFun Ahmed Ben Chaibah said the project’s goal five years ago was to improve the experience available in the Dubai Marina and JBR areas.

Guinness World Records Ltd’s country manager for MENA, Talal Omar, said, Known for its innovation, creativity and determination to compete against itself, Dubai is no stranger to breaking world records. Residents and citizens of the region are no different, and we are inspired by businesses like AquaFun, which exhibit determination and drive.
