According to the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi, during Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Holiday, October 8, 2022, all Customer Happiness Centers, surface parking lots, Darb toll gates, and public buses will operate as scheduled.

The ITC has announced that the Customers’ Happiness Centers throughout the emirate will be closed on Saturday, October 8. The digital platforms of ITC, including the Darb and Darbi smart apps, continue to provide customers with access to its services.

It is possible for customers to contact the Department of Municipalities and Transport at its toll-free number 800850 and TransAD 600535353, which are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

There will be no charge for surface parking during the holiday, which will begin on Saturday and continue until 7:59am on Monday, October 10. As part of the official holiday, there will also be no charge for parking at the Musaffah M-18 truck lot.

In order to avoid parking in prohibited areas and obstructing traffic, the ITC has asked drivers to avoid parking in prohibited areas. During the hours of 9:00 pm until 8:00 am, drivers are advised to park in the designated areas and avoid parking in residential parking areas.

On Saturday, the Darb toll gate system will be free of charge during the holiday, and will be returned to regular operation on Monday (from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm).

As far as the operating hours of public bus services are concerned, the ITC has stated that the services will be operated according to a unified schedule throughout the week.
