The Road and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced free public parking for January 1, 2023, and tariffs will resume on Monday (January 2). Multi-storey parking will cost residents, though.
For a period of 43 hours, the red and green lines of the Dubai Metro will be operating starting at 5:00am on Saturday 12/31/2022 until 12 am on Monday 02/01/2023.
On Saturday 12/31/2022, the tram will run from 6:00 am until 1:00 am on Monday, 01/02/2023, to make it easy to access the event area and exit after the shows are over.
The RTA’s customer Happiness Centers will be closed on Sunday (Jan 1) and reopen on Monday (Jan 2).
Hundreds of smart cameras will monitor streets during one of the city’s biggest events.
