Fuel prices for December 2022 were announced by the UAE fuel price committee on November 30.
As of December 1, Super 98 petrol will be priced at Dh 3.30 per litre, as compared to Dh 3.32 per litre in November, a decrease of 2 fils per litre
The price of Special 95 petrol will be 3.18 per litre, a 2 fils decrease from 3.20 in November.
A liter of E-Plus 91 petrol will cost 3.11 Dh as opposed to Dh 3.13 a litre last month, and a litre of diesel will cost 3.74 Dh as opposed to Dh 4.01 in the month of November.
In August, September & October retail fuel prices in the UAE were reduced in response to a drop in energy prices caused by fears of a worldwide recession but was slightly raised in the month of November
Since August 2015, when the government deregulated retail fuel prices, the committee has been updating rates on a monthly basis. For the past few months, rates have been announced on the last day of each month by the committee.
In response to the increase in global crude oil prices, retail fuel prices were increased by over nine percent for November, following a three-month decline.
