Fuel prices for November 2022 were announced by the UAE fuel price committee on October 31.

As of November 1, Super 98 petrol will be priced at Dh 3.32 per litre, as compared to Dh3.03 per litre in October, an increase of 29 fils per litre

The price of Special 95 petrol will be 3.20 per litre, up 28 fils from 2.92 in October.

A liter of E-Plus 91 petrol will cost 3.13 Dh as opposed to Dh 2.85 a litre last month, and a litre of diesel will cost 4.01 Dh as opposed to Dh3.76 in the month of October.

In August, September & October retail fuel prices in the UAE were reduced in response to a drop in energy prices caused by fears of a worldwide recession.

On the back of the Russia-Ukraine conflict that broke out in February this year, petrol prices in June reached the Dh4 mark for the first time and in July reached an all-time high when Super 98 was priced at Dh4.63 per litre.

The global oil market fell on Friday as China increased its curbs on Covid-19. The Brent futures contract fell to $95.77 per barrel while the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude contract settled at $87.90. As European countries mull a ban on Russian crude imports, crude benchmarks are expected to rise this week due to concerns about energy supply.

Despite an increase in economic activity, retail fuel consumption in the UAE remains below pre-pandemic levels.

Qatar announced the prices for gasoline and diesel for November 2022 on Monday (October 31). Except for a marginal increase in premium gasoline prices, most rates in Qatar have been unchanged for the last four months.

From November 1, gasoline Super will cost QAR2.10 per liter – the same as in October. As for diesel, the price will remain the same at 2.05 QAR per litre. Premium petrol, however, will cost slightly more for motorists, and will cost QAR2 per liter, versus QAR1.95 in October.
