Fuel prices for October 2022 were announced by the UAE fuel price committee on September 30.
As of October 1, Super 98 petrol will be priced at Dh3.03 per litre, a decrease from Dh3.41 per litre in September.
The price of Special 95 petrol will be 2.92 per litre, down from 3.30 in September.
A liter of E-Plus 91 petrol will cost 2.85 Dh as opposed to Dh3.22 a litre last month, and a litre of diesel will cost 3.76 Dh as opposed to Dh3.87.
In August and September, retail fuel prices in the UAE were reduced by Dh1.4 per litre in response to a drop in energy prices caused by fears of a worldwide recession.
For the first time since the UAE announced deregulation in 2015, retail fuel prices crossed the Dh4 per litre mark in June 2022, and reached a peak of Dh4.63 per litre in July 2022.
