UAE fuel prices were lowered by up to 62 fils per liter for September in accordance with global crude oil prices. It is the second consecutive month in which the UAE has slashed retail fuel prices. Prices were slashed by 60 fils per liter in August.
It has been announced by the UAE’s oil price committee that Super 98 has been reduced by 15.38% from Dh4.03 per liter in August to Dh3.41 in September; Special 95 has been reduced by 15.8 percent to Dh3.30 compared with Dh3.92 in August; while E-Plus 91 has been reduced by 16.1% to Dh3.22 from Dh3.84.
Additionally, the price of diesel has been reduced by 6.52 percent to Dh3.87 per liter for September compared to Dh4.14 for the month of August.
During the month of June 2022, retail fuel prices crossed the Dh4 per liter mark for the first time since the UAE announced deregulation in 2015, and reached a peak of Dh4.63 per liter in July 2022.
