For those attending such events, the UAE Capital’s Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee reminded individuals to adhere to the Green Pass protocol and to get a negative Covid test result. An indoor event should not host more than 50 people. Social gatherings at home should have a maximum of 30 people.
The organizers of Expo 2020 Dubai are also implementing Covid safety measures and “doubling down” on their commitment “to continue to host a safe and exceptional World Expo”. Organizers have said that if Covid-19 cases are detected, Expo 2020 Dubai venues may close temporarily for deep cleaning and sanitization.
