Crypto.com continues to use sports to promote the brand and spread awareness of digital currency. FIFA announced on March 22 that Crypto.com has been selected as an official sponsor for this year’s FIFA World Cup. According to FIFA, Crypto.com will be the exclusive cryptocurrency trading platform sponsor of the Qatar 2022 tournament. They will benefit from significant marketing exposure inside and outside the stadiums. Crypto exchange Crypto.com is sponsoring the World Cup in Qatar, according to FIFA’s chief commercial officer, Kay Madati. Madati explained that Crypto.com has already demonstrated a strong interest in the sports world.
Crypto.com has joined other digital currency companies, such as the crypto-asset exchange FTX, that have been heavily involved in sports sponsorships. The company noted that it had partnered with MMA, basketball, and ice hockey organizations, along with football organizations, according to an announcement on Tuesday.
A deal was signed with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) last summer.
