Crypto.com Named FIFA World Cup Official Sponsor

crypto.com chosen as official fifa world cup sponsor

Crypto.com continues to use sports to promote the brand and spread awareness of digital currency. FIFA announced on March 22 that Crypto.com has been selected as an official sponsor for this year’s FIFA World Cup. The 2022 World Cup will take place from November 21 to December 2 at the Al Bayt stadium in Al Khor, Qatar. The World Cup is watched by millions of people all over the world.

According to FIFA, Crypto.com will be the exclusive cryptocurrency trading platform sponsor of the Qatar 2022 tournament. They will benefit from significant marketing exposure inside and outside the stadiums. Crypto exchange Crypto.com is sponsoring the World Cup in Qatar, according to FIFA’s chief commercial officer, Kay Madati. Madati explained that Crypto.com has already demonstrated a strong interest in the sports world.

Crypto.com has joined other digital currency companies, such as the crypto-asset exchange FTX, that have been heavily involved in sports sponsorships. The company noted that it had partnered with MMA, basketball, and ice hockey organizations, along with football organizations, according to an announcement on Tuesday.

A deal was signed with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) last summer. Crypto.com completed a naming rights deal for the Los Angeles Lakers’ Staples Center shortly thereafter, calling it “Crypto.com Arena.” By the end of 2021, Crypto.com partnered with the Angel City Football Club (ACFC). Kris Marszalek noted that sponsoring the FIFA World Cup will ensure that Crypto.com is more widely recognized worldwide.
