“Intergalactic Children’s Metaverse Book” by Canadian singer Grimes will be released on the Avalanche blockchain.
In a virtual announcement last Friday at Avalanche Summit in Barcelona, Grimes announced that the $100 million initiative is the result of a partnership between OP3N and the Avalanche Foundation.
“When I first got into Web 3, this was the kind of project I was hoping to see. I’m very excited to be partnering with [OP3N] to launch a series of educational art for babies and small children with the goal of creating a profound experience for babies that is also deeply meaningful to adults,” said Grimes.

Additionally, she is the mother of two children she had with Tesla Inc CEO Elon Musk.
As recently as last year, Grimes sold out a series of NFTs after raking in $5.8 million in under 20 minutes.
Grimes said at the Summit, “I have not dropped any NFTs since the first drop because of environmental concerns. But I feel totally comfortable with Avalanche.”
