Samsung has teased the next flagship smartphone processor, expected to be dubbed Exynos 2200, ahead of its upcoming January 11 announcement. In a video shared via the official Twitter account, Samsung teased the upcoming chipset.
Samsung also posted the video clip to its official YouTube channel, though the teaser doesn’t contain much information, not even the name of Samsung’s upcoming SoC.
The Verge reports the new chipset will be enabled by AMD’s RDNA 2 graphics architecture, which powers the next-generation graphics in the Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and AMD’s RX 6000 line of graphics cards.
On January 11, 2022, Samsung will release the Exynos 2200, which will be the successor to the Exynos 2100 of 2021.
Several of Samsung’s most powerful phones in 2022 will be powered by Exynos 2100, including the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra renders have appeared on Twitter. The company has not announced any details about the upcoming series. The latest renders suggest that the handset will feature an S Pen slot, bringing it closer to the Galaxy Note series.
