The airline currently flies to the capital of Athens and the island of Mykonos in Greece but will begin serving the coastal town of Santorini, a tourist hotspot, in the coming months.

The island of Santorini, also known for Thira, its distinctive blue and white architecture, making it a popular destination for sun, sea, and hospitality.

The addition of three weekly flights to Santorini from Hamad International Airport now allows passengers to connect with the Greek island three times per week. Airbus A320s will be used to operate the service, with 12 Business Class seats and 132 Economy Class seats.

CEO Akbar Al Baker of Qatar Airways Group said We’re pleased to announce the addition of Santorini to our global network in 2022, joining Athens and Mykonos as our third gateway to this beautiful country. The addition of this flight will further strengthen our relationship with Greece and provide our passengers with a seamless one-stop connection option.
