Saudi Arabia announced on Monday that Umrah pilgrims who are vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the Kingdom will not be subjected to quarantine after entering the country. If you are vaccinated with vaccines approved by Saudi Arabia, you are eligible to perform Umrah immediately upon arrival
The official news agency of the Kingdom, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), quoted the Department of Haj and Umrah, which listed the requirements for Umrah pilgrims seeking visas to enter the country for the event from nonrestricted nations. Vaccinations with Saudi-approved vaccines allow those arriving in Saudi Arabia immediately to perform Umrah.
If, however, pilgrims are vaccinated with one of the vaccines approved by the World Health Organisation (WHO), they must quarantine for three days. In order to be permitted to perform Umrah, they must submit a negative PCR test result after 48 hours of quarantine.
