At present only chartered tourists from Russia and the UK are allowed entry into Goa, while other tourists will be able to do so starting in November.
Goa – the most sought-after holiday destination – has finally opened up to tourism. Domestic tourism started off well in September and now it can even be visited by foreign chartered tourists from October 15th.
The opening of Goa in the middle of November will be exciting for the tourists and international flights alike, but there are a number of guidelines and things you need to know and follow in order to stay safe there.
Only chartered tourists from Russia and the United Kingdom are currently permitted entry, while all other tourists will be allowed entry only when the international flights become available from November 15, 2021.
In a Saturday interview with IANS New Agency, Goa’s Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said, “Goa will have a good tourism season this year, especially with international flights to the country due to resume on 15 November.”
