Abu Dhabi’s new direct flights to Jordanian cities of Amman and Aqaba will make trips from the UAE to Jordan more affordable.
In addition to its flights to the Jordanian capital Amman, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi also offers flights to the gulf coast city of Aqaba. Two flights per week will be offered to Amman, a destination that Lonely Planet experts named the most welcoming in the world.
During a visit to the city, tourists can explore the arts and culinary scenes, tour ancient monuments, or explore the Dead Sea, located only thirty kilometres away.
The 3.5-hour flight will depart Abu Dhabi every Tuesday and Saturday starting on April 30. The one-way fare will be 70 dirhams.
Also starting on Thursday, April 28, the budget airline will fly twice weekly to the coastal city of Aqaba. The flight to Aqaba departs from Abu Dhabi on Sundays and Thursdays, taking around 10 minutes less time than the flight to Amman, and fares start at Dh70 for one-way tickets.
