‘Doctor G’ has a release date in theaters. The campus comedy-drama features Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh.
The film will be released in theaters worldwide on June 17, 2022, under the direction of debutante Anubhuti Kashyap.
This Junglee Pictures’ production stars Ayushmann as Dr. Uday Gupta and Rakul Preet as Dr. Fatima Duggal, a medical student.
Ayushmann announced the release date of the film on Twitter and also posted a still from the film. Shefali Shah also appears as Dr. Nandini, and Sheeba Chaddha plays a key role.
“Doctor G” is written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, and Saurabh Bharat, who is a doctor-turned-writer and draws inspiration from his experiences in medical college. The dialogues for “Doctor G” have also been written by Sumit Saxena, who has written acclaimed films such as Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Karan Johar’s Lust Stories.
At the moment, Ayushmann has three upcoming movies. His romantic drama “Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui” will debut on December 10, this year, while director Anubhav Sinha’s thriller “Anek” will debut on March 31, 2022.
