Bahrain’s first golden residency visa recipient is Lulu Group Chairman MA Yusuff Ali, Lulu Group announced on Sunday.
The Golden residency visa was developed as part of Bahrain’s economic recovery plan to attract talents and boost its economy by offering it to foreign investors.
I feel very proud and humbled to receive this honor today. I am delighted to sincerely thank His Majesty King Hamad bin Eisa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain as well as the Government of Bahrain for their hospitality, In addition to boosting Bahrain’s reputation as one of the region’s key investment and business hubs, this new permanent residency program will also attract and retain new investors in Bahrain, Yusuff Ali said upon receiving his Golden Visa number 001.
On Sunday, Yusuff Ali met with Bahrain’s King and Crown Prince to thank them for this great honor, as well as to reaffirm his commitment to Bahrain’s economic growth.
Yusuff ali was also the first non-Bahraini to receive the highest honour from King Hamad of Bahrain, ‘Wessam Al Bahrain’ in 2014.
