The Al Baik branch that opened in The Dubai Mall last summer sent fans into a frenzy. And now, the Saudi-born fried chicken brand is opening another location, inside Mall of the Emirates.
Since its second branch at Expo 2020 closed its doors, Al Baik, a popular spot in the region for fried chicken, shrimp, falafel, and fries, has been teasing its new location in Dubai, although they haven’t said where it will be. There are hoardings up for the new branch in the food court inside Mall of the Emirates, directly adjacent to Shake Shack. Even though we’re not sure when the Al Baik Mall of the Emirates will open, Al Baik UAE’s Instagram says it’s going to be soon. There won’t be much time to wait for people to get their hands on this finger-licking golden chicken at Mall of the Emirates.
In December, Al Baik launched a delivery service, which means customers could get their favourite fast food across 29 areas in Dubai, including Downtown and old Dubai. With the addition of a second branch, the delivery area could be expanded even further.
As for the popular fried chicken chain, it has operated in Saudi Arabia for almost 50 years, opening its first outlet in Jeddah in 1974. It has become one of the most loved fast-food chains in the Kingdom and now has more than 100 locations.
