Palm Jumeirah’s West Beach has seen more and more amazing outlets pop up and take over our calendar since its opening. The Palm West Beach is the place to go for chilled breakfast on the sand, to nighttime celebrations with international DJs.
The days of being able to park for free there are over, however, for those who like the convenience of the underground parking. There has been the announcement of the introduction of the ticketless paid parking system at West Beach.
When you enter the parking lot, your license plate will be scanned as you pass beneath the barrier. For every Dhs 200 you spend at a Palm West Beach restaurant, you can validate your parking, which lets you park for three hours free.
Before you leave the restaurant, you should tell your waiter your license plate number so it can be validated. If your car is unvalidated, or if you remain over three hours, parking fees will be charged at Dhs 20 for the first additional hour, and Dhs 10 for each additional hour after that. Located on the palm trunk, West Beach is an important part of the 1.5km long Park Promenade project, which consists of a long boardwalk lined by palm trees encircled in light.
