Google Play Games Lets You Play Android Games On Your PC

You can carry over your progress from your phone or tablet to Google Play Games for PC. Since Google Play Games on PC is now available for Windows PCs, you don’t need a high-end Android phone to play Play Store games.

An easy-to-use interface lets you download games from the home page, access titles you own in your library, and show your achievements on your profile page.

The Google Play Games app was announced back in December, and it allows you to run Android games natively on Windows while maintaining your progress across devices. This app is strong evidence of this feature’s future potential since Windows 11 finally introduced native support for Android apps last month. In case you haven’t yet upgraded to Windows 10, Google Play Games for PC will be available as well.

As of right now, it is only available in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea. Furthermore, you are currently only able to access a handful of preselected games via the app, rather than browsing the entire Play Store catalog. In the coming months, this will undoubtedly change as Google continues developing the app and releasing it in more locations. There is no indication of when readers in the United States and the United Kingdom will be able to check it out.

Google Play Games won’t work in Windows 11 or Windows 10 if your computer doesn’t meet the minimum specifications.
